“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.”  – Henry James

Ain’t that the truth. Spoken like a true artist, Mr. James. Holla! The sunshine, the girls, the freedom in the air – summer is about endless possibilities. But with those possibilities… young Jedi, there’s great responsibility. You gotta’ have the fashion swank and swagger to match the season. You gotta’ know what’s in, what’s out, and what’s on the horizon. Breakbounce Spring/Summer 2015 is all about an “easy on the eyes color” palette. But that’s only the beginning, gents. Here’s the lowdown on BB’s Spring/Summer collection. Check it!

Northern Summers

Yo. You know we like to “take it to the streets,” but sometimes we like to get out of dodge and take it to the coastline. Not just any coastline, mind you – but a rocky and remote one somewhere in Viking country. The Northern Summers collection is our ode – or would that be a saga – to Nordic summers. It features cool, breezy, washed out tones and clean, straight silhouettes. The colors are as soft and breathable as the 4 a.m. sunlight. Oh yeah, summer is a 24-hour gig in Nordic countries. There’s a reason why it’s called the land of the midnight sun.

Route 46

Set a GPS for Route 46 and you’ll find yourself at the crossroads of fringe culture and off-the grid living. How does bohemian culture translate to clothes, threads, and duds? Route 46 is an earthy, vintage, and repurposed look. It’s a ‘back to the land’ style that introduces masculine elements like leather, metal, and stronger, boxier silhouettes. Route 46 is grungy, dusty, and lived in, part Burning Man festival, part rock and roll homesteader.
Street Fest

This one is playful with a dash of wild, and sporty with a splash of Mardi Gras. The Street Fest collection features "juiced up" colors like indigo, burnt orange and cool summer green. The style captures all the high-energy vibrancy of the street in the summertime, from food truck festivals to free concerts in the park. You get the drift, right? There’s a kitschy playfulness to Street Fest, a devil-may-care attitude that's perfect for long summer days and starlit nights.

This year, don't just take it to the streets. Take it to where no man has gone before!
